Provenance Hotels Summer Road Trip
At the very start of the COVID pandemic, my client, Provenance Hotels, wanted to do a summer campaign centered around road trips, since road travel is safer than air travel when considering disease spread. They also needed it to be extremely, extremely low budget because the travel industry was, of course, hit super hard by the pandemic, and our productions needed to be extremely careful as far as COVID concerns went. So I wrote up this script that evokes memories of childhood road-bound vacations, and my CD, marketing director, and I were able to cast our (pandemic bubble) family and friends in the spot and do all the wardrobe, production design, camera work, etc., ourselves outdoors. We are very lucky we have such good-looking and talented friends and family.
